Junior League: A Fun Time to Develop Your Soccer Skills

Come join the Corner Kick Junior League. Our Coed educational league gives players the opportunity to develop new skills and learn from the game. Combining age and genders creates a unique experience for the new soccer player. Players interact and learn in a dynamic setting.

Our coaches work with players to develop basic fundamental skills of the game in this fun setting. Players leave each week with new skills that can be showcased in their games. We provide new players and the less experienced players a chance to learn in a non - competitive environment that helps players experiment with the ball in a game setting.

Corner Kick Indoor Soccer, the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) all agree that small sided games are what helps players develop.

Each session of Junior League brings together many players from the area. Each session coaches see players create new friendships. Players are encouraged to get a friend to register along with them, this helps ease the transition onto a new team. Each player may select one (1) buddy to be placed on the same team.

League Operation

1. The league consists of 2 - 6 teams on each day.
2. Players are assigned to teams randomly, making sure to have even numbers of each gender and age group.
3. Players are allowed one (1) buddy to be placed on the same team.
4. Sessions will be conducted from 5:30 - 8:30 on their respective night and will be one hour each.
5. Teams will rotate through the hours as scheduled.
6. Each team has between 6 - 12 players
7. Each session has one (1) trainer to coach the teams.
8. Each player will receive: Soccer Ball or T-Shirt
