The Staff
Alan Merrick
Played professionally for 17 years and was head coach of the Minnesota Strikers (MISL) for four years and was named Soccer Digest's MISL Coach of the Year twice. He played in the NASL 197 times while captaining the Minnesota Kicks to Multiple Division titles. In 9 years, he played 250 games in the English Premier Division. Alan represented England in the 1968 Junior World Cup in France, he also played for the US National Team while playing on ÒTeam AmericaÓ the US Olympic team in training. Over the past 20 years, he has been part of thousands of clinics and coaching sessions, impacting the sport in the Midwest. Alan is regarded as a master coach holding the USSF "A", Canadian "A" license, English F.A. Coaching Badge and the NSCAA Premier classification. Alan is now Head Coach of the University of Minnesota Men's Soccer Club team. |

Aaron Tilsen
Director of Soccer Services Having coached at the club and high school levels, Aaron is developing and maintaining the Academies programs. Aaron has played and coached in the Metropolitan area for 15 years is currently the Girls Varsity Coach at Robbinsdale Cooper High School and the former Assistant Coach at St. Paul Central High School. Aaron holds the USSF "B" License and the NSCAA Advanced Diploma. |
